1.ARTICLE - STATEMENT of BELIEF

1.01          Ecumenical Creeds.    As an expression of our identification with the historical and universal Church, we receive and accept the three Ecumenical Creeds (Apostles, Nicene and Athanasian) as faithful testimonies to the biblical faith which we confess.

1.02          Canonical Books.   We believe that the 66 Canonical Books of the Bible are the divinely inspired, supernaturally revealed and inherent Word of God and the only infallible authority in all matters of faith and life.

1.03          Recognition of God.   We believe that the basis for an abundant life is the recognition of the fact that God is the Creator and Sustainer of all that exists, and He has made himself uniquely available in, and known through, the person of Jesus Christ, that man’s maximum potential can be attained only through a personal relationship with Jesus.

1.04          Charismatic Gifts.   We believe that the charismatic gifts are for today and we are committed to their mature development.

2.ARTICLE - AUTHORITY

2.01          Authority of Jesus.   Jesus Christ is Lord!  He is King of Kings and Lord of Lords!  He is over all and supersedes all human authority.  Other human vessels may serve only as “designated and delegated” authority under the Lord Jesus Christ.

2.02          Work of Holy Spirit.   To know the Mind of the Father and to discern the direction of the Lord Jesus, we look to the Holy Spirit, our Counselor, who will reveal to us the will of the Lord on any matter through the Scriptures, through prayer, through personal words of wisdom and knowledge, through prophecy, through the principle of unanimity in decision making, and through the walking out of circumstances.

2.03          Confession.   For God’s protection of the blessing on the entire community it is imperative that each individual who has a part in this ministry confess Jesus Christ as Lord and be filled with the Holy Spirit, and know where he or she is called to serve, under whom and over whom, and to be rightly fitted together in the network of joints and ligaments.
