Our annual general meeting was held on Sunday, January 15, at Bethesda followed by a potluck supper. It was very cold outside but inside the fire and the fellowship was warm. It was a beautiful time of worship, fellowship, and unity in Christ. People commented on the strong sense of God’s peaceful and sweet presence upon the gathering. The shared food was delicious too! We were very encouraged by the strong attendance of over 25 people and the number of people who have indicated that they will join the Bethesda Fellowship community to support the ministry of Bethesda for the coming year (31 people and counting).
We are also thrilled to welcome three new directors to the board. Bethesda’s managing board for 2012 will consist of the following people: Linda Sprunt, Nancy Jahn, Gord Reimer, Rob Andrews, Frank Friedrich, Sherry Milnes, and Rob Milnes.
